Group Photo at The Gherkin
Commission for Allied World Assurance Company Ltd who wanted to capture a group photo of all their London employees. They are based in 30 St Mary Axe aka The Gherkin and reserved the bar area at the top of the building. This is a great space with stunning London views but a very difficult area to photograph in as the shape of the windows means light bounces around and had to be very careful to avoid reflections.

Business Portraits in Westminster
Commission for Juniper Place LLP at their offices in St James’s Square. These were taken with our normal lighting set up for the traditional formal headshot but we used the natural light from the window behind to create an interesting backdrop which also gives a feel for the style of offices they work in.
Relaxed Office Headshots
Commission for start up company Caerus Developments at their offices in Theed Street in South London. They were after headshots for their new website and asked that we capture them in normal attire and show some of the office in the background to make the portraits look informal and relaxed.
Retail Headshots in London
Commission for a client who required a London headshot with a subtle retail background. We shot this on the ground floor of One New Change and used the exterior lighting from the stores to create an interesting and slightly quirky backdrop for his LinkedIn profile photo.
Corporate Photography in Mayfair
Commission for Stamford Partners LL at their offices in Berkeley Square. They were keen to have their headshots taken at their Mayfair premises as this meant their directors and staff would only be away from their desks for a maximum of 10 mins. We shot all their people in under an hour and delivered the high res headshots the following day.
We have noticed that clients are seeing the benefit of having professional and contemporary headshots of all their people. Ideally these are taken in one sitting so the images look consistent and uniformed when placed on the ‘about us’ or ‘meet the team’ page on the company website.

West End Business Portrait Photography
Commission for Lone Star Europe Acquisitions LLP at their offices in Queen Anne Street. They asked us to capture some formal headshots and some informal more relaxed meeting style portraits. The traditional headshots were for use in marketing material and the more candid style photos were to be used for business social media such as LinkedIn.
The standard headshot used to be taken against a white or black background and was mainly used for internal corporate material. With online business profiles becoming increasingly important the need for clients to appear professional and approachable has become prominent. We are finding that businesses are focusing on a more real aspect to their headshots showing their people within a business environment and looking more relaxed and natural.

Candid Business Photography
Commission for Dock9 Ltd at their offices in Minories. The asked us to capture some ‘fly on the wall’ photos of their staff and directors at work. These were going to be used to create banner montage images for their new website. Candid office photography is popular with media and start up companies but now we are increasingly being asked to shoot in this style for our corporate and financial sector clients.
